Sudden craving for a chocolate dessert? Then satisfy your cravings with this mouthwatering coffee chocolate sauce recipe. This satin-smooth, rich sauce is perfect to pour over ice cream or to drizzle on cakes, pastries and brownies. Best of all, it takes less than five minutes to make!

The addition of coffee adds an extra layer of flavour giving the sauce some depth and complexity.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Country Bean Hazelnut coffee

1/2 tbsp sugar

150 gms dark chocolate

2-3 tbsp warm milk

Directions

  • Whisk coffee and sugar together with 2 tsp of warm water.
  • Beat until it becomes creamy.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Melt dark chocolate in the microwave or double boiler.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of warm milk to the melted chocolate and mix it well. If needed add more milk to get a slurry consistency.
  • Mix melted chocolate along with whisked creamy coffee.

Voila! Your coffee chocolate sauce is ready.

Pro Tips

Keep it refrigerated for the sauce to last longer. It’s always better to store it in an airtight jar.

To thin out the sauce, add some milk and heat it. If you want a thicker consistency add more chocolate instead of milk. (Always remember that as the chocolate sauce cools it naturally thickens)
